AVP’s Knopf Gives Volleyball Lesson to Kids

Angela Knopf 225AVP Pro Tour player Angela Knopf, a member of Athletes For Hope, took a breather from the AVP tour to meet with over 50 kids at the Jack, Will, and Rob Center of Portland’s Boys & Girls Club this week. After sharing her experience in pro volleyball and the life lessons she has learned from the game, Knopf hosted a volleyball clinic to teach the youth some new skills in the sand.

Kids already love sand, so I’m sure Knopf didn’t have any trouble keeping their attention. The opportunity to kick up some sand and hit a volleyball around with a pro athlete was most defiintely a highlight of the week for these kids.
