Busch Tapped for Operation Homefront Effort

Kurt Busch 275Miller Lite has already agreed to donate $200,000 to Operation Homefront, but that amount could increase with the help of Penske Racing driver Kurt Busch and his No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge. Miller Lite will add $10,000 to the pot for every top-ten finish Busch scores at the Kansas, Charlotte, Martinsville, Talladega and Texas NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.

“I’ve always been honored to drive the #2 Miller Lite Dodge, with its longstanding sponsorship of the sport,” said Busch, whose ride will also sport a special paint scheme. “But when the brand steps up like this and makes such a generous gesture to the military, something I believe very strongly in, I am even more proud to be a part of the Miller Lite family.”

The multi-faceted program also extends to retail packaging and bar promotions. Consumers can contribute $5 to the cause by texting the word T-R-O-O-P-S to 90999. Or you can visit (MillerLite.com/Vets to donate. Miller Lite’s goal is to raise a total of $500,000 for Operation Homefront.
