Gatorade: In an effort to move consumers to its www.missionG.com Web site, NBA-sponsor Gatorade is donate $1 to an NBA charity (up to $25,000) for every person that visit the site during this NBA weekend (Gatorade).

Charity of the Year: The Champions Tour has selected Community Grief Support Service, of Homewood, Ala., as its 2008 Charity of the Year. The group will receive $30,000 from the Tour (Champions Tour).

Becks: Soccer’s David Beckham has donated the shirt which he wore for his record-tying 108th England cap to charity. The shirt will now be auctioned on behalf of The Bobby Moore Fund (BBC).

Jimmie Johnson: NASCAR’s Jimmie Johnson and recording artist Nick Lachey raised about $200,000 for charity during their second annual Super Skins Celebrity Golf Classic held Super Bowl weekend. The beneficiaries are the Jimmie Johnson Foundation and the Nick Lachey Foundation, as well as the March Of Dimes, the Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of America and the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Scene Daily).
